Le immagini sono state realizzate durante un trekking in alta quota, nella regione del Nar-Phu in Nepal. Nel periodo dei monsoni, immense quantità di vapore acqueo si scontrano con le montagne della catena Himalayana, dando origine a visioni straordinarie ed emozionanti, che riescono ad evocare le emozioni più profonde ed intime.
Le nuvole fluttuano in cielo, trasportate dalle correnti, danzando attorno alle montagne. Le abbracciano, come tenere amanti, donando loro preziosa rugiada, fonte di vita. Le sommergono come mari spumosi, creando spettrali paesaggi, trasformandole in forme surreali. Immagini effimere, provvisorie, basta che il vento si alzi o appaia un raggio di sole, che tutto cambia, si trasforma e svanisce.
The images were taken during a high altitude trek in the Nar-Phu region in Nepal. During the monsoon period, immense quantities of water vapor collide with the mountains of the Himalayan range, giving rise to extraordinary and exciting visions, which are able to evoke the most intense and intimate emotions.
Clouds float across the sky, carried by the current, dancing around the mountains. They embrace them like tender lovers, giving their precious dew, source of life. They submerge them like foamy seas, creating ghostly landscapes, transforming them into surreal shapes. The ephemeral, provisional images, it is enough for the wind to rise or for a ray of sunshine to appear, that everything changes, transforms and vanishes.
